A meeting room AV installation in London usually goes in while the joinery, ceilings and floors are still being finished. These photographs, taken between 22 and 30 June 2023 in a London office fit-out, show a meeting room with twin displays and a video bar, a joinery wall built for two displays, and a large Avocor display in a lounge area.
A meeting room with twin displays and a video bar
Two displays sit side by side in a recess in the wall, with a Poly video bar fixed beneath them, its camera in the middle and a speaker at each end. A touch controller stands on the table, and power and data connections are let into the tabletop. Sheer curtains and a curved line of light around the ceiling panel finish the room.
Swing arm mounts in a joinery wall
On 22 June two swing arm mounts were fixed to the back panel of a dark joinery wall unit in the open plan area, with network cables hanging beside them. By the next day two large displays were in place, still in their protective film, with a camera above them.
A 105 inch display in a lounge
In the lounge area an Avocor display hangs on the wall with a camera on top. The Avocor L Series is a 105 inch ultra wide display designed for meeting rooms and boardrooms, and its screen offers an internal PC, DisplayPort, USB C and three HDMI inputs. The view from behind shows the display pulled out from the wall on its swing arm, with the cables gathered in braided sleeving and clipped to the frame, which keeps the connections easy to reach.
Planning meeting room AV in London
Talk to your AV installer before the joinery is made, because the mounts, camera positions, table connections and cable routes all need to be built into it. Ask for a back panel strong enough for the displays, and for access to the connections behind them. Our pages on meeting rooms, video conferencing and Teams Room installation in London explain the options, and our AV installers in London page covers the area.
