Rako lighting control for homes in Kent, designed, installed and programmed by our own engineers.
With Rako, every circuit dims smoothly and a few engraved keypads replace rows of switches, with scenes such as Welcome, Dinner and Goodnight.
What we do with Rako
- Wireless Rako for existing homes, with little or no redecoration
- Wired Rako systems for new builds and major renovations
- Scenes on engraved keypads and control from the Rako app
- Integration with Control4 and Crestron
- Replacing JCL FlexiDim with Rako on the existing wiring (see FlexiDim replacement)
See our Rako page and Rako lighting.
Working in Kent
Kent work ranges from large country houses around Sevenoaks, Westerham and Tunbridge Wells to period homes in Canterbury and Cranbrook and new builds across the county. Many have gardens, outbuildings and long drives, so whole property Wi-Fi, gate integration and outdoor audio matter as much as the house itself.
Recent enquiries and projects around Tonbridge, Canterbury and Cranbrook are handled by the same team from survey to support, with most support done remotely.
How a project runs
We visit, agree what you want and send a clear online proposal with drawings before anything is installed. Everything is then documented in your client portal, with support through 1Install Care.
Questions we are often asked
Is Rako wireless reliable?
Yes. Rako wireless is designed for homes and is very reliable when the system is planned properly, which is part of our design work.
Rako or Lutron?
Both are excellent. Lutron has the widest range of keypads and shades; Rako is very flexible and good value. We install both.
Do you cover all of Kent?
Yes, including Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Westerham, Maidstone and the rest of Kent.
