Design, first fix and ETS programming all stay in house when you choose 1Install as your KNX installer in London, a certified KNX Partner working on Victorian terraces, mansion flats, mews houses and new apartments.
KNX installer for London homes
London work means period houses where walls and ceilings matter, and new apartments where every centimetre of ceiling void is planned. We route the KNX bus with your electrician so cornices and plaster stay untouched, and put the equipment in a small cupboard rather than a plant room.
What a KNX system can control
- Lighting scenes and dimming in every room
- Underfloor heating and radiators, zoned room by room
- Motorised blinds and curtains with a weather station
- An All off button by the front door
- App and voice control through 1Home
We are an official 1Home partner, so your KNX system can also appear in Apple Home and Google Home through 1Home KNX.
KNX is an open standard backed by more than 500 manufacturers, according to the KNX Association, so any certified partner can work on it. Our main KNX installer page has the full picture, and lighting control and home automation cover the wider options.
From plans to handover
From the first visit to the day we hand over, the same team designs, installs and programmes your KNX system, and your drawings and manuals stay in the client portal.
Questions we are often asked
Can KNX go into a house that is already finished?
Yes. We use wireless KNX RF devices and existing cable routes where walls are finished, and wire KNX properly wherever rooms are being renovated.
Do you programme KNX yourselves?
Yes. Our own team programmes every system in ETS; we do not hand it to a subcontractor.
Which parts of London do you cover?
Yes. We regularly work in Belgravia, Chelsea and Kensington and across London.
Areas we cover in London
Belgravia, Chelsea, Kensington, Hampstead, Highgate, Islington, Fulham, Wimbledon, Richmond and Clapham.
