Home Cinema Installation in Buckinghamshire

Home cinema installation in Buckinghamshire: dedicated cinemas with tiered seating and projection, and media rooms that fit around family life, for homes from Chiltern villages to Beaconsfield.

Every cinema we build begins with how the room will be used: who watches, where they sit and how much of the room has to change. The screen, the projector and the speakers are chosen once that is clear.

Cinemas we have built in and near Buckinghamshire

In Beaconsfield we fitted a dedicated cinema with a projector, a large screen and tiered seating, as part of a country home where the family also has a media room, a games room and a pool house.

In Finchampstead in Berkshire we rebuilt a room from its shell. The staged floor lifts the back row of recliners so everyone sees the full screen, and a new stud wall keeps the sound inside.

Follow the Finchampstead build from bare room to finished cinema.

Home cinemas across Buckinghamshire

Buckinghamshire homes run from Chiltern cottages and period village houses to large modern houses in Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross, so no two cinema rooms are planned the same way. In an older cottage a media room with hidden speakers often suits best, while a larger house may have room for a dedicated cinema with seats in rows. The same team surveys, installs and supports every project, with most support handled remotely.

Ways to bring cinema into your home

Most rooms fall into one of three types. A media room uses a large TV with speakers built into the walls or ceiling, so it still works as a family room. A dedicated cinema adds projection, acoustic fabric walls and seating in rows. A whole home setup links the cinema with multi-room audio and lighting control across the house.

Questions we are often asked

Do we need a separate room for a cinema?

Not always. A media room in a family lounge gives you much of the experience, with the speakers built in and blackout blinds for daytime films. A separate room is worth it when you want projection, rows of seats and sound that does not disturb the rest of the house.

What is a staged floor?

A raised platform for the back row, so the people behind see over the heads in front. In Finchampstead we built one in timber before the carpet went down, with LED lighting along the edge of each step.

Do you cover the whole county?

Yes, from Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross and Marlow to Amersham, High Wycombe and Aylesbury, and the villages in between.
